It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted on here. I’ve been so busy with the Cataclysm beta and everything I have barely had time to post.

It’s by Hexigames and I had a chance to test it out the other day. I got to say…I was VERY impressed.

That’s right, I’m sick of questing when I level new characters.

I’ve leveled so many characters that the quests are repetitive and frankly I’m sick of doing them. It’ll be cool when the new expansion comes out because, from what I understand, they are re-vamping the old Azeroth…I hope that leads to re-vamping the old repetitive and boring quests.

But…in the meantime here’s what I’ve started doing to level my characters. All you have to do is get to level to at least level 12 on horde or 15 on alliance (which you’ll have to quest, that’s the only way).

Then just do instances! Instances are a ton of experience and they are fast. Not only that, but you can get awesome upgrades that you will never be able to get by just questing.

Thanks to the dungeon finder system you’ll never have to worry about finding a group, since it will instantly match you up with one.

What I like to do is mix instances with some questing here and there (in between my instance runs).

I wanted to break it down and tell you exactly where to put your talent points:

10-19

• 2/2 Improved Sinister Strike
• 5/5 Dual Wield Specialization
• 3/3 Deflection

20-29

• 2/2 Improved Slice and Dice
• 1/1 Riposte
• 2/5 Precision
• 5/5 Aggression

30-39

• 3/3 Lightning Reflexes
• 1/1 Blade Flurry
• 5/5 Choose a Weapon Spec of Your Choice (Swords/Axes, Maces, or Fist)
• 3/5 Precision

40-49

• 1/1 Adrenaline Rush
• 3/3 Vitality
• 2/2 Blade Twisting
• 4/5 Combat Potency

50-59

• 5/5 Combat Potency
• 1/1 Surprise Attacks
• 2/2 Unfair Advantage
• 5/5 Precision
• 4/5 Prey on the Weak

60-69

• 5/5 Prey on the Weak
• 1/1 Killing Spree
• (Assassination) 5/5 Malice
• 2/2 Remorseless Attacks
• 1/3 Ruthlessness

70-80

• 2/3 Ruthlessness

As you can see, combat is the best choice for leveling since you have faster energy regeneration and have cooldowns that you can use for better survivability and more damage.  A 10 minute corpse run is no fun, after all.

Ok, one of the things I hate more than anything is farming gold.  It gets in the way of leveling new characters, raiding, and PVP (basically it gets in the way of the fun stuff).  That’s why I wanted to show you guys this site I came across tonight.  If you hate farming gold, then Click Here and check it out…you can’t afford to miss it.
